Privacy

This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to visitor information on bombay-bride.com. Bombay Bride is a read-only guide: it has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no comments and no checkout, so it does not ask you for personal details such as your name or email address.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics (Google tag) to measure how pages are used, such as which pages are visited and from which country. Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser and receives your IP address and browser details as part of normal web requests. You can block this with your browser settings or a tracking-protection extension, and the guide works the same without it.

Third-party services that load with pages

Each of these services receives your IP address when your browser requests files from it, as is true of any website that loads outside resources.

Location

The map page has a “near me” control. If you press it, your browser asks for permission and, if you agree, your position is used inside your browser to centre the map. The site does not send your position to its own server.

Store information

Store names, addresses and phone numbers shown in the directory are public business listing data, not personal data about visitors. See About for where this data comes from.

Changes

If the site starts collecting anything beyond what is described here, this page will be updated first.
